Québec Film: "Incendies"

Incendies tells a deeply moving story of two twins who receive a pair of envelopes from their mother in her will. One is for the father they thought was dead; the other for a brother they didn’t know existed, taking them on a journey to the Middle East in search of their tangled roots. They discover the tragic fate and courage of an exceptional woman. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film has won many international awards including an Academy Award nomination for best foreign language film. This movie is for a mature audience only.

There will be a welcome reception before the screening.

Some of the works of Belgium illustrator, Pascal Lemaître, will be displayed on this occasion as well as the works of the students who participated in the immersion day activities.
