French Immersion Day

French Immersion Day for high school students and teachers

French immersion Day is open to students and teachers (in separate classes).

Students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, games, role play and many other activities to learn more about French in a fun way! Teachers will learn new ways of teaching French with native French speakers.

Jean-Michel Djian, French journalist and editor in chief of the famous newspaper Le Monde de l’Éducation, will present his documentary film "Rêver Français" about the French language - how it is used and its evolutions - and propose discussions and workshops for students and teachers around the thematic of the French language.

In the teacher’s workshop, theater director Olivier Kemeid from Quebec offers ways to incorporate live theater into French and drama classes.
